Things sure have changed at Una Pizza Napoletana. There was a time when the menu was simple, if you wanted to dine here, you wanted pizza. You knew coming in that you would be ordering pizza, because that was the only thing on the menu. Once the dough ran out for the day, there was nothing left.
These days things have been shaken up. The restaurant now offers a few small plates, along with the pizza, that they are so well known for, but that’s not all. They now also offer three desserts that diners can choose from. If you know this restaurant, then you know this is a huge change, and one that patrons seem to love.
Among these desserts is the scrumptious tiramisu. Of course, you wouldn’t expect the same old traditional tiramisu that can be had elsewhere, this unique dish swaps out the lady fingers, for lemon sponge cake. The lemon sponge cake gives the dish a bright, fresh, unexpected, yet delicious taste. The dessert is creamy and packed with flavor. It’s perfect way to end a tasty dinner. Sadly, you have to be quick with your order, the tiramisu runs out quickly, thanks to its popularity. It’s almost as popular as the pizza, which is saying something.
While pizza may always remain the shining star on Una Pizza Napoletana’s menu, it’s nice to have a few different options for those who want them, and it’s great to be able to have desserts that have as much thought and effort put into them, as the pizza does. Those who haven’t been here in a while, will thoroughly enjoy the rebooted menu that’s now offered.
