Dr. Dov Rand is the owner and operator of Healthy Aging Medical Centers in West Orange, New Jersey. He has over 22 years of experience as a doctor and has been performing age management medicine for the past seven years. He helps both male and female patients who want to be healthier by losing weight, doing vitamin therapy, and through bio-identical hormone balancing. His goal is to help his patients by preventing age-related diseases from occurring.
Patients come to Dr. Dov Rand’s offices with conditions they are looking to have treated. This can include fatigue, weight gain, low libido, muscle atrophy, depression, and hot flashes among other conditions. He provides treatment for these types of conditions and helps patients attain healthy aging. One of the primary ways he helps his patients is through hormone therapy. He supplements his patient’s natural supply of hormones as the evidence shows that declining hormone levels are associated with a broad range of health issues. Low hormonal levels can lead to cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, and Alzheimer’s disease among other health issues.
Dr. Dov Rand says that all of his treatment decisions are based on peer-reviewed research studies. His particular medical specialty was first established in 1947. His branch of medicine is known as physiatry and it takes a comprehensive approach to medicine that includes the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neurological, and rheumatological systems into account. He received advanced training in a number of branches of medicine in order to engage in this holistic approach to medicine. (vitals)
