Adam Milstein is a Southern Californian business owner and Israeli-American activist. He is the managing partner of a firm he founded, Hager Pacific Properties, in 1985. He now owns multifamily residences, business parks, retail buildings, and industrial properties across the nation. He has been married to his wife, Gila, since 1974 and together they have three children and three grandchildren.
His business and being an Israeli-American activist are both equally important to Adam Milstein. He supports many Israeli-American nonprofits through the foundation he co-founded, the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation. Their goal is to support the special relationship that exists between America and Israel, Jewish people, and Israel itself. They do so through consulting, Pro-Israel advocacy, and Jewish education.
When Adam Gilstein supports a nonprofit he doesn’t just do so financially, although he does give quite a bit of money away. He also invests his time and his expertise into the nonprofits and projects that they actively support. There have been many organizations and projects that he has lent support to through his foundation. A few of these are Hasbara Fellowships, the Los Angeles Board of Birthright Israel, StandWithUs, Israel on Campus Coalition, and the Jewish Funders Network.
A very influential organization that Adam Milstein founded was the Israeli American Council (IAC) for which he serves as the chairman of the board. Adam Milstein founded the AIC for a number of reasons. He says that there are more than half a million people living in the United States and they play big roles in the areas of culture, innovation, academics, and social activism. His organization engages with this community so that it is supported. The organization also wants to support the next generation identifying with their Jewish Heritage. Additionally, one of the goals of this organization is to strengthen the bonds that exist between the people in Israel and the people in America.
